Our S500 service is our entry level service with a choice of two contention ratios. For home or low volume business use a 50:1 contention ratio provides the cheapest access to broadband service.

For users where consistently high download speed is more important we offer a lower contention 20:1 service.

Our S500 services are available as "self install" where you connect your own equipment to the line and we just deliver the service, or as a "assisted install" where we ship you an ADSL modem or pre-configured router, and filter so that all you need to do is connect the solution to the phone line. For an "assisted install pre-programmed router" you will need a network card in your equipment to connect to the service.

Both services are available with the following options to the basic ADSL connection service-

4 Fixed IP address assignment
DNS management for your domain name
Web space in the form www.yourdomain.co.uk
POP3 mailbox stores mail for your whole domain
*NEW*SMTP Mail fallback service (stores your SMTP mail in the event of link failure)

The above equipment is recommended by us for connecting your PC equipment to the ZAP-ADSL service. If you wish to source your own equipment then we will  provide you with your unique ADSL connection details only, and the installation of the router or modem will be your responsibility.

The above options can be used in conjunction with the basic ZAP-ADSL service to provide extra functionality to the service, such as network connectivity through a firewall or compatibility with an office  Exchange mail server. Prices are subject to a minimum contract term of six months with an initial service deposit of 1 months service charges. Termination terms are two months notice on either side. Full terms and conditions are available on request.
