I have a phone extension on the same line as I want for ADSL, what do I do?
If you have an extension line off the line you want to use for ADSL you will need an ADSL filter to plug the phone into for each line socket i.e. plug the first filter into the line socket and the main phone into the filter, then plug the second filter into the second line and the phone into this.

The ADSL/DSL light on my router won't come on, what do I do?
This can mean a line fault but is more likely that you have unplugged the filter from the phone line socket or the lead from the router to the filter by mistake- check these first. If they are connected OK then power off the router and then back on and see what happens. Sometimes routers will recover after the line is reset by a power off and on of the router. Failing this please call us on 01256 382720.

A workstation cannot access the internet, what do I do?
Have you changed the settings in Internet Explorer recently? If you have not then check that other machines (if any) that use the link can access the internet over the ADSL link. If they can then you'll need to look at the configuration on workstation that has the problem. If its on a network check that you reach other network resources as it could be a problem with this machines connection to the local network rather than the internet connection itself.

More coming soon.....
